A cool and creamy Herbed Greek Yogurt Dip for all your dipping needs. I always keep a few single serve containers of plain greek yogurt in my fridge. It’s such a versatile ingredient that can be used in so many different ways! Have it for breakfast with granola and fruit or blended up in a smoothie. I love to use it as a base for all kinds of creamy dips, dressings and sauces. It’s a much healthier alternative to sour cream or mayo and can be completely transformed in so many savory, delicious ways. It’s rich, creamy and packed with healthy protein. Perfect for this dip!
This recipe is very forgiving and can be customized to your tastes. You can use whatever kind of soft, fresh herbs you have on hand – cilantro, basil, parsley, tarragon, mint, dill – it’s your world! My favorite veggies for dipping are carrots, celery, bell peppers, cucumbers and sugar snap peas. This light and tangy dip is a perfect addition to your party spread, or to just have around for grazing while working from home or on a hot day. I often enjoy this as a meal when I’m feeling lazy and don’t feel like doing much cooking. This dip is also wonderful as a topping for baked potatoes and any kind of fritter (see my Zucchini Fritter recipe) It also keeps well in the fridge for a few days but I doubt it will last that long before it’s all gone!
